So, are you ready to celebrate Halloween in style?
If not, I present to you this deliciously "biting" little cupcake recipe... Dracula cupcakes!
I named it this way because of these delicious vampire fang candies used in the base of the cupcakes (and as decoration on top). These vampire teeth come from the gourmet October Confizbox with a Halloween theme.
FYI, this is a box filled with sweets that you can subscribe to. For €15, you receive the box in your mailbox once a month. Each month, a different theme: 80s, back to school, Halloween...
These cupcakes, despite a somewhat scary visual (!), have a deliciously sweet taste! The base is notably flavored with almond and strawberry (melted candy...) and the frosting is simply flavored with vanilla.
Let's go for the recipe!

- 30 g vampire teeth or other spooky gummy candies!
- 80 g liquid cream
- 50 g of flour
- 40 g almond powder
- 30 g powdered sugar
- 1/2 cc of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 œuf
- 25 ml sunflower oil
- 25 ml of milk
- +
- 180 g of mascarpone
- 15 cl full liquid cream 30%mg
- 30 g powdered sugar
- Purple gel dye
- Preheat the oven to 180 °.
- Start by melting the vampire teeth and the liquid cream in a saucepan. Mix well to homogenize everything. Reserve.
- In a container, combine the dry ingredients. Then add the whole egg, beaten beforehand, the oil and the milk. Finally, pour the melted candy cream into the cupcake batter. Pour this batter into boxes inserted in a muffin tin. Cook for about 20 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack before decorating them.
- Making the icing: in the bowl of the food processor, whip the mascarpone and liquid cream into whipped cream. Rain in the sugar. Before the whipped cream is completely firm, add the purple coloring, about 1 tip of a knife, and finish assembling the whipped cream.
- Line a pastry bag fitted with a fluted tip. Garnish the cupcakes.
Happy Halloween to you!

Quick question: does the "80g of liquid cream" correspond to whole cream or crème fraîche?
This is whole liquid cream.
