The choice of ingredients
- bananas : Choose medium-sized bananas (neither too small nor too large). I strongly recommend cutting them into large pieces and freezing them before preparing your smoothie. Frozen bananas add an extra touch of freshness to your smoothie. This also adds texture.
- strawberries : Use good quality fresh strawberries for maximum flavor in this strawberry banana smoothie!
- milk : either semi-skimmed milk or plant-based milk. If you want a sunny flavor, use coconut milk; if you want a neutral flavor, use soy, oat, or other milk.
- Greek yogurt : it provides a very pleasant smoothness and it contains proteins, which makes this smoothie a very good snack! You can also choose a creamy plant-based yogurt if you prefer (it will be less smooth, however).

My tips for making a successful strawberry banana smoothie
- for a refreshing smoothie, consider freezing your banana pieces. Once blended, they will add texture and a very pleasant cooling effect.
- operate your mixer/blender several times : this allows you to check the consistency obtained, if you think it is too thick, add a little milk to your strawberry banana smoothie.
- if you want it really iced, you can add a little crushed ice or directly one or two ice cubes (if your blender is powerful enough to crush them).
How to store your smoothie?
Once you have made your strawberry banana smoothie, I advise you to taste it directly because it's delicious freshly prepared! If you want a little more time, or if you've made too much, you can store it in the refrigerator for 24 hours in a tightly sealed container.

- 350 g strawberries
- 2 medium bananas, cut and frozen
- 125 g Greek yogurt or creamy plant-based yogurt
- 150 g semi-skimmed milk or vegetable milk (coconut type or other)
- Wash and hull strawberries.
- In the blender or mixer bowl, place the whole strawberries, the still-frozen banana pieces, the milk and the Greek yogurt.
