A delicacy in just 3 ingredients: Kinder Country house ! Inside, a heart of white chocolate and puffed wheat coated with a milk chocolate shell. Very easy to make, children will enjoy it, adults too!

What you'll love about this Kinder Country recipe

  • difficulty level : very easy to prepare! You will need from a tablet mold like mine. I recommend it to you, because with its format, it can also be used to make gourmet gifts for your loved ones.

Ingredient details

  • milk chocolate : I highly recommend a pastry milk chocolate. If you have couverture chocolate it's even better, but failing that Nestlé pastry milk chocolate is fine.
  • White chocolate : as said above, I recommend white baking chocolate. It will be better and less sweet with couverture chocolate, but if you only have Nestlé white baking chocolate, that will be fine.
  • puffed wheat : I found mine in a health food store, in the breakfast cereal section. It is unsweetened, which is better for this recipe.

How to make homemade Kinder Country?

  1. We do melt the milk chocolate
  2. We garnish with a brush each mold
  3. On refrigerate
  4. We do melt the white chocolate
  5. We add the puffed wheat
  6. We garnish each footprint of this mixture
  7. On refrigerate
  8. We end with a little bit of milk chocolate
  9. On refrigerate one last time
  10. On turn out and we taste!

My advice for making them a success at home

  • to properly melt your chocolate in the microwave : do this in small intervals so as not to overcook the chocolate. Stir every thirty seconds or so.
  • if you want a thicker milk chocolate shell for your Kinder Country : be generous with milk chocolate. If, on the contrary, you prefer a thin chocolate shell, distribute a thin layer with a brush.
  • to save time, I place my tablet mold in the freezer between each step, it's quicker than in the refrigerator (the times are given in my recipe below).

How to store Kinder Country?

These homemade Kinder Country can be stored up to 4 days in the refrigerator, in an airtight container. You can think about taking it out about ten minutes before tasting so that they regain all their flavor.

I do not recommend keeping them at room temperature because of the chocolate they contain.

These Kinder Country are also a great idea for a gourmet gift for your loved ones (you can wrap them nicely), think about it!

Kinder Country like in the store, but made at home with only 3 ingredients! Milk chocolate and white chocolate with a good taste of puffed wheat.
Amount : 6 small tablets

Prepare in advance 20 minutes
Cook time 10 minutes
Cooling 1 time
Total 1 time 30 minutes

Ingredients 
  • 250 g pastry milk chocolate
  • 150 g white chocolate pastry
  • 30 g puffed wheat
Prepare in advance 
  • Melt the milk chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave.
  • Using a brush, spread a thin layer of milk chocolate in the indentations of a silicone tablet mold (see my equipment above). Place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes or in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave. Add the puffed wheat. Mix to obtain a smooth paste.
  • Place this filling in the chocolate molds, packing well. Put back in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  • Melt the remaining milk chocolate. Cover the cooled fillings with the remaining chocolate, using a brush (for a thinner layer) or a spatula (for a thicker layer).
  • Place in the refrigerator for about an hour before unmolding and eating.
Notes
These homemade Kinder Country can be stored up to 4 days in the refrigerator, in an airtight container.

    Too much dark chocolate flavor, but it's so good. Try it with milk chocolate.
